A Visa is a permit granted to an individual to legalize their entry or stay in a territory or country of which they do not have the nationality or the permit of free transit. These permits are governed by agreements between countries.
Any visitor seeking to enter Uruguay requires to establish to the satisfaction of Immigration Officers, an identification and the purpose of their entry into the country.

VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR Bangladesh CITIZENS

Bangladeshi citizens traveling with a Regular Bangladesh passport need a visa to enter Uruguay. Diplomatic, Service and Official Passports need a visa at the moment.  And the request for Visa must be made directly to Embassy of Uruguay In Delhi . However we may assist you to communicate with them directly and for further information please contact our Consulate of Uruguay . All visa application must be done online and supporting documents also need to be submitted online

VISA RELATED COUNTRIES AND COUNTRIES REQUIRING IT

There is a list of countries with which Uruguay has bilateral agreements on migration that allow the entry of its citizens to the corresponding territories with the current common passport, without the need for visas.

In the event that there is NO such agreement between the citizen who intends to enter Uruguay and is carrying a valid common passport issued by his / her country, he / she must then APPLY FOR THE VISA OF ENTRY since it requires a prior consultation with the Ministry of Interior of Uruguay for the authorization of its entry into Uruguay.
It should be kept in mind that in some cases the processing of the visa may have a delay of more than twenty days.

Bangladesh Documents

Bangladeshi documents must be authenticated and legalized by the Consulate of Uruguay, Dhaka Bangladesh before they will be accepted by Uruguayan authorities.

If you mail your document(s) for authentication in Bangladesh, you should include a letter requesting that the Department forward your document(s) to the Consulate of Uruguay in Dhaka Bangladesh for legalization. A consular fees applies.
